Alberta Bible College
Rocky Mountain College is pleased to partner with Alberta Bible College in offering Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) training to its students.
The opportunities to use TESOL training in ministry are abundant both here in Canada and around the world. RMC and ABC are working together to provide this training to as many students as possible.
RMC students can use the TESOL program at ABC in two programs:
- Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Development, Intercultural Studies Major with TESOL minor
- Diploma in Global Studies – ESL track

Mount Royal University
Rocky Mountain College and Mount Royal University’s Faculty of Continuing Education have signed an agreement to partner together to provide job-ready skill training for RMC’s new Diploma in Global Studies. RMC students will be able to take a program at MRU and apply it to their Diploma program. The agreement enables RMC students to use one of these MRU programs: (Click the program name for more information.)
Rocky Mountain College is proud to partner with Mount Royal University's Faculty of Continuing Education. Rocky Mountain College provides the Biblical, Theological, Spiritual Formation, and Intercultural courses plus the "on the job" practical experience that will equip students in this brand new program to be effective team members of agencies which are bringing justice and the gospel to people around the world.
Wycliffe Canada
Rocky Mountain College is pleased to announce that we partner with Wycliffe Canada to equip people to be able to serve as a team member in translating the Bible and literacy training. Students in RMC’s new Diploma in Global Studies program will be able to use programs from Wycliffe’s partner, CanIL at Trinity Western University in Langley, BC, as part of their RMC program. The CanIL programs provide job-ready skills in linguistics.
Wycliffe teams work with indigenous communities to assist them in such tasks as:
- developing an alphabet for oral languages
- analyzing the grammatical and sound patterns of languages
- producing print or audio materials in newly translated or written languages
RMC will provide the Biblical, Theological, Spiritual Formation, and Intercultural courses plus the "on the job" practical experience that will equip students in this brand new program to be effective team members of agencies which are bringing justice and the gospel to people around the world.
The Wycliffe/CanIL programs will equip people to be:
- Language Learners are trained how to hear and produce sounds of the world's languages and how to communicate in any language. With these skills people are able to work with people of other language groups in many different ways. For more info go to: Language Learner
- Literacy Interns work with translation teams and develop literacy materials, train teachers and encourage reading and writing. They work with local community members, teaching people to read and write, and endeavoring to establish literacy as a community value.for more info go to: Literacy Intern
- Language Surveyors do basic sociolinguistic fieldwork, collecting solid data to answer vital questions: How closely are dialects and languages related? How many translations are needed in a country or region? Where and how should translation projects be started? For more info go to: Language Surveyor
