Residence

Living in Residence provides the advantage of being in close proximity to the College, shopping, the public library and Brentwood Calgary Transit LRT Station. Residence life allows students to integrate closely into the community at RMC. The Residence staff works to build a positive atmosphere and sponsors social events and spiritual formation opportunities throughout the year. 

The Residence Program is apartment-style living located within a 5 minute walk to campus. The campus is well served by Public Transit, including Brentwood LRT Station, one block away. The Program is available to all RMC students, although priority is given to those who are enrolled for 9 or more credit hours per semester. Please note, we do not have suites available for married students and their families.

College Manor is an apartment building owned by RMC and is conveniently located across the street from the College. All suites have two bedrooms and can comfortably house up to four students. Residents can choose between Standard and Standard Plus suites, subject to availability. Standard Plus apartments have a living room space. The building also includes a communal lounge, which is used for watching television, socializing, and studying. 

All suites are furnished with beds, desks, closet storage, kitchen table/chairs and living room furniture. Coin-operated laundry facilities are available.

Apply on-line or send your completed application form, as soon as possible to Student Life.Remember to include the $400 Reservation and Damage Deposit fee (credit card, debit, cheque). This deposit is refundable by written request until July 15 (fall semester) or November 15 (winter semester).

See How Students Are Showing Their Love For Others ...

Residence is a unique opportunity to practice love every moment, in your day-to-day interactions with your neighbours.  You don't have to look outside our community to find need: in times of individual struggle, grief, faith issues, relationship problems, family concerns, and so on - we each need the friendship, prayer, guidance, and accountability that fellow believers can provide.  This year, the residents and staff are embracing the fullness of Jesus' command to love our neighbours.

Of course, Jesus wasn't just talking about the people we live with, but was pushing for the widest possible definition of "neighbour." Apart from what we do as a community, residents serve in a wide variety of capacities: nurturing children and youth in church or para-church contexts, using their musical gifts to lead others in worship, assisting with Student Union and other groups on campus, intentionally encouraging and edifying their peers, and interacting with non-Rocky people through part-time jobs.
