Human Services

If you are passionate about helping people flourish, the Human Services department equips you to serve individuals, families, and communities with compassion and skill. This program integrates Christian faith, social science, and practical field experience to prepare you for meaningful work in helping professions.
You will learn to understand human behavior, address complex social challenges, and apply counseling and intervention strategies in real-world settings.

Whether your interest is in counseling, child and youth care, or addictions work, your studies will emphasize both professional competence and a strengths-based, holistic approach to care.Graduates go on to careers such as counselors, case workers, youth care specialists, addictions counselors, and community support workers in both faith-based and secular environments.This department’s purpose is to prepare you to bring hope, healing, and practical support to others through informed, ethical, and compassionate service.
